Established in 1991, The Barramundi is known around the world as the original and still the best private members’ nightclub.

The roots of The Barramundi go back to a Chelmsford mobile disco in 1988, before finding it’s first home in 1991 in the lounge of a terraced house with no heating, Springfield, Chelmsford.

Now 5 homes later, The Barramundi celebrates it’s 30th anniversary on the 4th December 2021 as it hosts MC’s 50th birthday party.

Hundreds have attended over the years, a handful were present at the very first gig 30 years ago – The Barramundi elders!

Many have tried to follow, but none have been able to match or outlast The Barramundi.
